I cannot express in mere words how grateful I am that you’re reading this now and want to learn more about our center.
This teaching is life to me. I’ll tell you why.
I’m passionate about sharing The Science of Mind with others. Not because of the teaching itself; but because of the many lives I see transformed through this message.
Witnessing the amazing realizations and changes for good in their lives that result renews my own Spirit consciousness and trust in the principles that we teach. I’m daily reminded of the goodness and abundance this life holds for all of us if we’re only willing to open ourselves up to receive it.
We don’t do this by focusing outward but by turning inward, focusing on our own awareness and growth. The outward effects are a natural byproduct of what we are on the inside.
This is a philosophy of spiritual truth that I must stay connected to.
I came to this teaching 35 years ago. A friend invited me to go with her to the Mile High Church in Denver a year and a half after I had become sober and clean in AA. After experiencing a couple of near-death events in my life, I immediately recognized that this teaching was tailor-made for my soul sensibility.
It spoke to my soul like no message I’d heard before. Unconditional love. Unity through diversity. The power to create my own experiences. Our creative potential is limitless. These were messages I wasn’t hearing anywhere else and they changed my life.
Becoming a minister was never a conscious calling for me, but rather a part of the continuing creative unfoldment in my own spiritual journey and one that I now more fully recognize as my purpose in life.
My journey continues to unfold as new changes and challenges are taking place in my life. I trust that God within and as me will guide, direct and bring forth from me all that I need to succeed and prosper.
I welcome you to our center, a center where we come together from many places and circumstances to be inspired to live joyful, healthy, creative and abundant lives.

He is the Senior Minister at the Music City Center for Spiritual Living in the Nashville area. MCCSL became a chartered church of the International Centers for Spiritual Living in July of 2008.
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, he has had a successful music career, performing with THE WOODYS, which had a #1 Americana Chart Album, won an International Top Country Vocal Duo Award and earned Michael an award as a #1 hit song writer.
